Glenmorangie Barrel Select Release Palo Cortado Finish 12 year 750 ml

This limited-edition single malt is the third release in Glenmorangie’s Barrel Select series and the first to be finished in rare Palo Cortado sherry casks. Initially matured for eight years in American oak bourbon barrels, it is then finished for four years in Palo Cortado casks, resulting in a rich, complex profile.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Rich and elegant aromas of toffee, caramel, vanilla, with hints of moss and mulled wine.
Palate: Warm burnt amber tones with complex notes of nuts, sweet spices, and a smooth, balanced mouthfeel.
Finish: Long and nutty with subtle leather and a touch of aniseed, leaving a warm, satisfying aftertaste.
