Initially aged for ten years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, it undergoes an additional two years of maturation in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks from Jerez, Spain. This "extra maturation" imparts a rich depth and complexity, resulting in a whisky that is both elegant and full-bodied.
