The Gael is a blend of 60% malt and 40% grain whiskey, incorporating some of the oldest whiskeys in the J.J. Corry flavor library. It is matured in a combination of sherry casks from Jerez, Spain, and bourbon casks from Kentucky, USA, imparting a rich and complex flavor profile. Bottled at 46% ABV, this non-chill filtered whiskey showcases the distillery's commitment to craftsmanship and heritage.

Tasting Notes

Nose: An immediate hit of Irish Whiskey’s signature orchard fruits—with a suggestion of ripe red apple but dominated by white peaches and apricots. Floral notes, and hints of freshly cut lawns and Douglas Fir dance around those stone fruits.

Palate: Orange hard candy develops into candied orange peel, before giving way to cooked stone-fruit flavors: apricot frangipane tart and peach cobbler.

Finish: Long and warm with lingering fruit, soft oak, and a touch of sherry sweetness.
