Uncle Nearest 1820 is a distinguished single barrel Tennessee whiskey, aged a minimum of 11 years and bottled at cask strength. Selected from the top 1% of all barrels at the distillery, each release is a unique expression of craftsmanship, complexity, and character.
This whiskey is produced using the traditional Lincoln County Process—charcoal mellowing before aging—and honors the legacy of Nathan “Nearest” Green, the first known African American master distiller.
